Eldoret – Day 1

Three planes, two cabs, one hotel … but I’m here!!!!

We touched down in the city of Eldoret early this afternoon and we have spent the day exploring, visiting, and meeting new friends – including a baby chameleon!

I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to explore the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital and the Sally Test Centre. They are such incredible places filled with wonderful play rooms for the children. We saw so many smiling faces today – I can’t wait to start interacting more with the staff and patients in the coming weeks.

It is currently raining here in Kenya, so we have taken shelter at the house, and are winding down before dinner.

Luckily it is the weekend because there is tons of stuff to prepare for for next week!

  1. Alexandria…God bless you for being there. You will be such a blessing to all those you meet and spend time with. And you will receive such blessings in return. God has great plans in store for you. You are a true joy. May the Holy Spirit guide and protect you.
